At the beginning of the programme I felt very insecure, when negative thoughts came up I didn’t question the logic or root of them and I found it hard to feel better after getting to a low point. I was dealing with accepting things as they are despite what I wanted to happen, I definitely feel as though I’ve reached the point of being in tune with the present moment and how to adapt to issues as they arise.
What I hadn’t been aware of before I started was that most of my insecurities were based off of assumptions which I had no proof to support them. I’ve noticed that I’m now able to see where any anxious thought root from when they arise and I’m able to find what the mind monkeys are trying to tell me, and then I can move past the thought much easier. I’ve been starting to question my negative thoughts, Instead of immediately become a victim to them and let them overpower me. I’ve realised that my relationships with other people have definitely improved as I feel more secure in myself without seeking validation, I've been able to have better communication with others as I’m more In tune with myself. If I could sum up how I feel in 3 words they would be: calm, refreshed, stable
